Carla Rojas is a Toronto-based digital strategist with an interest in amplifying emerging voices and making contemporary art and culture more accessible through interviews, editorial content, and digital initiatives that connect artists, audiences, and institutions.With a background working across digital media, film, and the arts, Carla is particularly interested in the intersection of culture, documentation, accessibility, and audience development.As a film strategist, she has led the social media strategy for over 30 award-winning films, including the Oscar®-nominated To Kill a Tiger and the Emmy-nominated Made in Ethiopia, and was recently invited to serve as a mentor for the 2026 cohort of filmmakers in the Hot Docs Blue Ice Docs Fund. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at DOC Institute.Her interest in contemporary art led her to found Artifier, a Toronto-based platform and editorial project exploring the intersection of art, culture, and lifestyle, with a focus on making art more accessible and opening up conversation around it. Artifier | Toronto Art Radar
In 2019 I created Artifier, an independent event directory for the Toronto Art Scene, created with the mission to help make art more accessible.
When the world shut down in 2020, Artifier partnered up with Partial and Culture Fancier to create "Remote Art Talks", a video podcast series that received over 20,000 impressions and was included in CBC Arts' roundup of the best Art Series in Canada.
After a hiatus in 2021, Artifier is set to re-launch in 2022.

Every film is different and no campaign is made the same.It is important for me to truly understand your film and your voice as a filmmaker as my job is to help communicate your message to the world.After working on multiple award-winning films, series and festivals, I've developed the following framework:
MY APPROACH
1. Have a clear understanding of what your goals are as a filmmaker.2. Identify the natural audiences and target audiences of the film.3. Based on your goals, I will help you identify your strongest clips and promotional material. I will also suggest a series of content ideas and tactics we can use to engage with our chosen audiences.4. Setting up accounts and creation of content calendar.5. Campaign launch. Social media management and community engagement, identifying influential accounts and opportunities to cross-promote. (Option to launch paid campaigns).6. Review campaign performance and adjust.
